MPA Mridangam is a master level program in humanities. The mridangam, otherwise called Tannumai, is a percussion instrument from India of antiquated beginning. It is the essential cadenced backup in a Carnatic music troupe, and in Dhrupad, where it is known as the pakhawaj.
